Every morning around 6,most of you favourite channels
give a long break to their movies ar 'news' items and start showing a long sponsored
advertisemnt about a thing called 'nazar suraksha kavach'.
"You fall ill if someone
praises you, your business is destroyed if someone praises you success" etc etc. "Nazar
lag gayi", the evil eye has hit you, the channel says. For 23 hours and 30 minutes evryday,
the same channels tell you to keep away from 'Andhvishwas' or blind faith and sell you this 'crap'
in remaining half an hour! Same way as they painstakingly perform 'sting' operations to expose
some babas, show you that string repeatedly for 23 hours and 30 minutes in a day and in remaining
30 miniutes of the day, they show you the same baba 'parvachan'! Believe me it's true. Asaram bapu
is still going strong on the same channel who had launched a life-and-death campaign against
him. Coming back to 'nazar', the channel has even 'invented' a scientific
logic about this 'nazar' phenomenon. It tell you that when the eye of a stong person
meets the eye of a weaker one, the weak eye is hit by something coming out of the strong
eye and so the "nazar lag gayi".
Friends, even if we assume their logic to be true for one moment, how do they explain the other
phenomenon that they show? "Someone praise you child and the child stops eating
immediately." What's more ridiculous, when someone tells you that your business is running
well but his own is not, immediately your business goes to ruins. Your bank
refuses you over-draft, your trucks meet with accidents, your age old clients leave
you in lurch, the dogs bark upon you and what not!
My friends, if you have it their way, you shall loose 90% of your relatives and 95% of your business clients.
No one shall be able to come near your office and no one shall be permitted to love your child.
You will be destroyed soon, both economically and socially and then keep on saying, "Hai lag gayi!"
The next thing you would not believe is being said by a seemingly educated girl in the program. She says, "
I was engaged. My auntie came and said, 'Hai...sabkuchh kitna achha hai...hai...mazaa
aa gaya...hai...kya baat hai....'
Then this dejected girl says with deep breath, "Shayad buaji ki 'hai' lag gayi. Rishta toot gaya."
Ask this girl, "Have you ever heard of 'gareeb ki hai'? Is your bua so gareeb and you have
looted her? as that could have explaned this 'hai lagna' phenomena! She said 'hai' and her 'hai lag gayi'??
Do you really think people are fools? The next thing you would tell us is, "Not all the people
say 'hello' to you; some may say 'hi'. So their 'hi' can hit you and your life can be
destroyed. To save yourself...buy our "nazar suraksha....crap" and hello-hi chhodiye,
jai mata di boliye.... save yourself from
angrezon ki 'hi'!
So dear friends, have you heard anything more idiotic? Well I haven't. Say 'Idiotic media ki jai'.
