Bhrashta4: The corruption

India's way of life!

Astonishing: Do even the Japanese turn corrupt as soon as they arrive India?!

Newsjyoti's first success story has been reduced to zero!

(But the latest news on April 3, 2011 is that just like Voltas, Daikin also is backing off. Wait for a few more days and then read the latest) (By Jyoti Narula)

NewsJyoti, Feb. 2011

This is how black money exchanges hands in this country. This company Daikin too has crores of black money already. I need not gather proofs for my claim. These photographs are more than the proof. Someone tell me, in what category of expenses these expenses of preparing hundreds of these illegal hoardings are shown? There are no 'free lunches' and so they must have paid millions of 'black money' to various RWAs to let them 'replace' the already fresh painted boards displaying the names of the RWAs (and Voltas) as I had shown in previous article. (If at all this is necessary other than to display or show off their 'tashan' as I call it). Where is all the 'black money' going to be generated which will be paid yearly or qurterly or monthly to these so-called 'welfare associations'? I know the exact figure of how many 'thousands' per month per gate is exchanging hands. I am not specifying the amount but seeing thousands and thousands of such gates you can clearly imagine the magnitude of the money which is exchanging hands. This company is not only robbing the MCD but also owes a fortune to the income tax department and the country in this way. These 'welfare' associations of late have been becoming health hazard for the exchequer as well as they are for the ordinary law-abiding citizens of their respective localities.(I shall discuss the attitudes and the 'high-handedness' of these association office bearers later in some article. That is a different problem). In this particular case, these can be booked for fraud and cheating etc. They are selling and leasing the space which does not belong to them at all. How can they let some company display its advertisement on their information board which is on a public land? A case of 'breach of trust' can also be initiated. Ask a lawyer and he will tell how. The money thus collected is invariably 'eaten up' or 'drunk' by the office bearers of such 'welfare' associations. Mostly there are only 10 to 20 such dirty fishes in every block of every locality which are outgoing in nature or 'dabangg' who control all these funds. They are not accountable to anyone for this money. Even if they are registered with the registrar of societies, they only submit the account of the money which they fleece the ordinary residents to pay. They simply 'eat' or 'drink' the money earned by such illegal means, as there are no receipts or the proof of payment. All this is 'black money'.

Even if you are not paying to any such association or there is no such association in your block or society, please bear in mind that the 'outgoing' among the other societies in other part of the city are 'eating' and 'drinking' from your pocket. After all, the loss to the MCD is paid from your pocket ultimately. Forget for a while about the loss of the IT department, let us talk of the MCD. It will be introducing the parking tax soon and the parking charges will also be increased; it has become 'poor'! Do you know what the MCD can do about this illegal business? It can easily fine the company in question million of Rupees and another millions can come from imposing fines on such registered associations.

What you can do about it. The least you can do is to write to the MCD. If possible, mention this news story. Then wait for a while. After that you may file a question under the RTI act from the MCD as to what action has been initiated or not initiated in this regard and how much fines have been imposed. If the amount is much less than the magnitude of the crime, why! Other than this, you can straightaway file a PIL in the high court and fetch crores for the MCD by getting them directed to impose these fines. MCD has the provision for such fines and it has time and again levied it. MCD's old design website had the guidelines clearly mentioned in regard to the security gates of the localities. RWA's are not supposed to display any advertisement on these. It is also interesting to notice that you will not find these guidelines in MCD's new design website. Contact us if you do not. What the court will ask the MCD is that what the area inspectors have been doing all the while these hoardings were kept erected. Why such big things did not get noticed by the authorities which were noticed by the litigant. If the MCD claims that it was going to do the needful and it was all just a matter of time, there you can use our good name, 'Newsjyoti'. Ask us and we will provide you the proof that the MCD was reported of the phenomenon as early as 2009 by both; E-mail and the hard copy received. There is no excuse for so much delay if the action was intended at all. So the credit for the action goes to the litigation of the litigant only. Otherwise all the money would have gone down the drain.

If your court case is successful, (chances are a full 100%), you, the litigant can ask the court to direct MCD to pay you the litigation charges as you are the one who is the reason for the authority's gain to the tune of crores! You see, government has this policy that whoever gives information about, say, black money or smuggled goods or anything, gets a reward of 20%. Do not be astonished if your request to the court to consider paying this much percentage to you from the amount which the MCD collects by way of such fines is rewarded by the court! Imagine the amount you may get. Take pictures of all such hoardings, as many as you can. These will be the proof of numbers of boards put up by the RWA's and the companies even if they remove them on seeing the things going out of their hands. Make sure that each and every company and each and every association has to fully pay for each and every board they display. So get going in this game of 'kaun banega crorepati' before we at Newsjyoti find time from our busy schedule to do the needful ourselves. If you become a famous figure, please do not forget 'Newsjyoti' which gave you such idea. If you do not want to approach the court yourself, click all the pictures and come to us when we decide that the time has come for us to take some action. These pictures may earn fortune for you as well; all of it will be perfect 'white money'! Earn while you serve your city and your country. It is going to be a mass movement so do not be afraid. Click and capture them all.

Be quick otherwise you can just lay back and suffer. Dear Delhi-ites, do not be surprized if your house tax is increased further. Do not be surprized if the rates become astronomical too; because the MCD has no money. Recently they have increased the circle rates further making your dream house beyond your reach. So why does MCD has to squeeze your innocent pocket? Simply because the clever are squeezing the MCD resources. This is a scam worth multi crores and the MCD has to act immediately if the authorities already know about it and trust me, they ought to know.

Incidently, it was newsjyoti's first success story and the Indian company Voltas had laid its hands off this illegal advertisement hoarding business when the story was brought to its notice. They took all the pain to cover their name under a thick plastic sheet on all the boards as they were denied permission by the RWAs to remove these boards altogether though these were erected by Voltas itself with its own money. Recently this other company Daikin, this time from Japan has joined the loot of our city's resources. As soon as Voltas covered its advertisements from the hoardings displaying the RWA names, Daikin boarded the loot wagon and occupied the space vacated by Voltas. In fact this company Daikin got these hoarding boards readymade and just had to repaint them. It was Voltas who had bore all the expenses of purchase and erection of these boards. But the news from Newsjyoti is that Daikin have just wasted whatever small money they have spend on this illegal hoardings business. It will have to quit as well more sooner than later. Already it should have paid millions to the RWAs as the advance money for this illegal favour. It is not going to benefit in any way. "Crime never pays", as they say.

I am sorry that the Newsjyoti's first success story i.e., the 'removal of Voltas' has been reduced to zero in respect of real benefit. The corruption in our country has become so deep rooted that you cut one branch with much effort-sweating and another one is fully grown by the time you relax, deep-breath and say 'phew'! But we will not sit down unless this root is uprooted, let us pledge today. What may really surprize you is that how come these big companies amass such a huge amount of black money. The party in question 'Daikin' writes that its product is 'with love from Japan'. Japanese are known worldwide for their sincerety and integrity.Question that arises in my mind is, "Do the Japanese too can become corrupt as they land in India? Has our land detereorated to such extent? Or is it just that the prevalent corrupt elements here can be dangers to the good name of even the best world-famous people of integrity, once they associate with our country-men in any way....
